Our school is not for everyone.

Everyone has the opportunity, but not everyone will.

Our expectations are high and not everyone is willing to do the work.

The Greatest Excuse of All

In Think And Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill offers a list of 55 alibis, aka excuses, that people create as to why they can’t succeed. Here is the final one…

“IF *** and this is the greatest [excuse] of them all *** I had the courage to see myself as I really am, I would find out what is wrong with me, and correct it, then I might have a chance to profit by my mistakes and learn something from the experience of others, for I know that there is something WRONG with me, or I would now be where I WOULD HAVE BEEN IF I had spent more time analyzing my weaknesses, and less time building alibis to cover them.”

We ALL Have Weaknesses & Challenges

We all have weaknesses and challenges to overcome, some bigger than others, but it’s A CHOICE to either work on those weaknesses or use them as excuses.

Are you going to use your challenges to hold you back or propel you forward? And which option are you going to allow for your kids? Are you going to hold your kids accountable or allow them to be a victim to their weaknesses?

Every Obstacle Offers an Opportunity to Improve

At Acton we believe that every obstacle offers an opportunity to improve. Or as Marcus Aurelius says, “The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way.”

The choice is yours for the taking.
